Dernière journée de notre court périple au Japon... où plutôt devrais-je dire Tokyo. 

Comme nous avions pris les services 24h d’un bus Hop-on Hop-off, nous terminons cette balade en matinée. Ce bout restant nous amène aux portes du marché aux poissons. Fourmillant de vendeurs de produits de la mer, il s’avère quant à moi, surtout une trappe à touristes. Les sushis et autres bouchées vendues sont, je l’espère fraîches, mais surtout très onéreuses. Alors on furète un peu, goute de l’anguille, et passons notre chemin.

 Direction Odaiba, île artificielle, construite avec la terre retirée du continent, afin de construire Tokyo. Édifices modernes où se trouve un musée, un très beau centre d’achats, un centre d’amusement aquatique, et quoi encore. Une courte virée nous rappelle qu’on n’a plus 20 ans et que le site n’est pas vraiment pour nous.

 Retour vers notre quartier pour une dernière course, souper et… remballage de notre sac à dos. Bizarrement, le volume des bagages de Rox a plus que doublé !

On repart pour le Canada mercredi matin. Ainsi ce texte sera l’avant-dernier. Je vous reviendrai pour mes « highlights » et autres commentaires qualifiant notre voyage.

Last day of our short trip to Japan... I should say in Tokyo. 
As we had taken the 24h bus Hop-on Hop-off, we finished the race in the morning.  This last bit brings us to the doors of the fish market.  Swarming with sellers of seafood, it is mostly a trap for tourists.  The sushi and other bites sold are, I hope, fresh, but above all very expensive.  So we poke a little, taste the eel, and go our way.

 Direction Odaiba, artificial island, built with the land removed from the mainland, in order to build Tokyo.  Modern buildings with a museum, a beautiful shopping center, a water amusement center, and more.  A short trip reminds us that we are over 20 years old, and that the site is not really for us.

  Back to our neighborhood for a last shopping, dinner and ... repacking our backpack.  Oddly enough, Rox's luggage volume has more than doubled!

  We leave for Canada on Wednesday morning.  So this post will be the penultimate. Soon I will get back to you for my "highlights" and other comments qualifying our trip.
