1er novembre - Shibuya et Ueno

Autre journée, autre quartier. Ce matin on est allées marcher au jardin Yoyogi où les avis sur ce jardin étaient élogieuses. Malheureusement à ce moment de la saison, les arbres n’ont pas encore atteint le stade de leur coloration automnale, et les fleurs ont terminé leurs floraisons. Bref, tout est encore vert ou à peu près, et donc moins intéressant. Tant pis

Marche vers la tour Bunkyo. En route on passe devant le stade de baseball « Tokyo Dôme ». Petite pause photos.

À la tour, on souhaitait apercevoir Fuji, mais il est définitivement très timide. Ce midi, il s’est caché derrière la couche de smog cernant la ville. Dommage

Poursuite au parc Ueno pour y visiter le musée de la nature et des sciences. Dinosaures, minéraux et animaux empaillés n’ont plus de secret pour nous dorénavant. Le seul hic est que les infos presqu’entièrement en japonais nous empêche de tout assimiler ;)

On termine la journée au parc Ueno puis dans la rue Ayayo. Saké et « crock pot » dans un petit resto donnant sur la rue nous plaît beaucoup. Une courte marche pour revenir à notre capsule et la journée est encore une fois terminée !

Another day, another neighborhood.  This morning we went to Yoyogi Garden where the reviews on this garden were complimentary.  Unfortunately at this time of the season, the trees have not yet reached the stage of their fall coloring, and the flowers have finished their flowering.  In short, everything is still green or almost, and therefore less interesting.  Never mind

 Walk to Bunkyo Tower.  On the way, we pass the Tokyo Dome baseball stadium.  Little break for photos.

 At the tower, we wanted to see Fuji, but he is definitely very shy.  This afternoon, he hid behind the smog layer surrounding the city.  Pity

Bon appétit ! 

Continue to Ueno Park to visit the Museum of Nature and Science.  Dinosaurs, minerals and stuffed animals have no secrets for us from now on.  The only problem is that the informations almost entirely in Japanese prevents us from assimilating everything ;)

 We end the day at Ueno Park and then in Ayayo Street.  « Sake » (Rice wine) and "crock pot" in a small restaurant overlooking the street… we like it very much.  A short walk back to our capsule and the day is over!
