Sur la route entre Kalkan et Kas. Route sinueuse qui suit le bord de mer. Au large, si vous y étiez, vous pourriez voir quelques iles grecques ou turques

Le pays étant autonome quand à l'alimentation des citoyens, on en rencontre beaucoup.
Mais les champs sont plein de pierres et roches. Une vraie terre de Caîn ! Ce doit être beaucoup de peine que de travailler la terre ici (ça me rappelle les Laurentides)

As the country is autonomous concerning the food, we see a lot of those.
But the fields are full of stones and rocks. A real land of Cain! It is certainly a pain to work the land (it reminds me some pieces of land in Quebec, in the Laurentides)

Sur la route vers Elmali. Ça monte et ça monte. J'ai même vu une affiche avisant qu'il fallait des chaines ou des crampons aux pneus pour prendre cette route...
On the road to Elmali. It goes up and it goes up. I even saw a sign advising us before taking this road that chains or crampons for tires are needed ...

Heureusement il faisait superbe soleil cete journée-là. La chaussée était sèche (même si ça n'en a pas l'air, croyez-moi)
Luckily it was a great sunshine that day. The pavement was dry (even if it does not look like it, believe me)
Un pays inhospitalier, empierré, mais magnifique !
An inhospitable, stony country, but magnificent!
Évidemment, le pays étant composé à 90% de musulmans, ce ne sont pas des églises que l'on voit, ce sont des mosquées. Et les chants du muezzin résonnent plusieurs fois par jour. Comme autre chose, on s'y fait !
Obviously, 90% of the people in this country is Muslim, so you won't see churches, but mosques. And the songs of the muezzin echo several times a day. Like other things, we learn to deal with it!
