Maintenant, j'ai hâte de rentrer au pays. Pas de vague à l'âme, juste faim de bon fromage et de roties au pain brun, d'une grosse salade ou d'une lasagne, ou d'un bon paté chinois à la mode de che-nous lol. La bouffe thaï m'aura un peu déçu cette année mais j'ai eu plus de plaisir à manger de l'indien. Reste que de devoir toujours demander "Please, less spicy", on en perd nos repères culinaires.
Now, I can not wait to get home. No wave in the soul, just hungry for good cheese and brown bread toasts, a big salad or a lasagna, or a good sheppard pie home made. I was a little deceipt by Thai food this year but I had more fun eating Indian. Still, always having to ask "Please, less spicy", we lose our culinary references.
Dimanche en après-midi on s'envolera vers Mumbai, Londres puis Montréal. Un long périple de près de 32 heures. On prendra ça une heure à la fois, comme d'habitude.
Et dès mardi, on prendra notre ...ième gardiennage, à Morin-Heights cette fois.
Sunday afternoon we will fly to Mumbai, London and Montreal. A long journey of nearly 32 hours. We'll take it an hour at a time, as usual.
And as early as Tuesday, we will take our ... nd homesitting, at Morin-Heights this time.
Pour la saison estivale étendue, comme à mon habitude, je cause beaucoup moins. J'ai peu à dire et surtout j'ai des clients à honorer et un travail de jardinier à faire ! Alors ne soyez pas surpris d'entendre peu parler de nous. Mais restez branchés et vous me relirez sans doute à l'automne.
For the extended summer season, as usual, I speak much less. I have little to say and above all I have clients to honor and a gardener job to do! So do not be surprised to hear little about us. But stay tuned and you will probably read me back on next fall.

- près de 5 semaines à Mackay, puis 1 semaine à Perth (en Australie);
- almost 5 weeks in Mackay, then 1 week in Perth (Australia);
- près de 1 mois en Thailande, dont environ 2 semaines à Pattaya (ville de débordements en tourisme sexuel), puis Kanchanaburi, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai et enfin Sukhothai;
- Nearly 1 month in Thailand, about 2 weeks in Pattaya (town of overflowing sex tourism), then Kanchanaburi, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and finally Sukhothai;
- et environ 6 semaines en Inde, plus précisément à Calangute dans l'état de Goa
- and about 6 weeks in India, specifically Calangute in the state of Goa.
Un drôle d'hiver ou on n'aura fait qu'un gardiennage, et pour le reste, je n'arrivais pas à me brancher à savoir ce que je voulais vivre comme voyage. Par amour pour Luc, on aura fait pas mal de plage, et il aura fait pas mal chaud (trop chaud)... je prépare ma vengeance pour l'hiver prochain !!
A funny winter where we will have done only one homesit, and for the rest, I was never unable to know what I wanted to live as a trip. For my love for Luc, we will have done a lot of beach, and it will have been pretty hot (too hot) ... I prepare my revenge for next winter!

RépondreEffacerUne fois de plus un bel hiver pour vous deux, chanceuse et chanceux qui savent en profiter. N'oublie pas notre road trip quelque part en AOÛT tsé gennre. Cette année je n’accepterai aucune remise à plus tard quand les oiseaux sont déjà partis se faire voir ailleurs.
