Comme on vous disait, Rocio et son mari Pancho, sont les gérants de la ferme.

Ils s'assurent que tout aille bien, et entretiennent les lieux (bâtiments, gazon, taille s'il y en a à faire, entretien des chevaux, etc...).

Des gens simples, sympathiques et accueillants. Simple people, friendly and welcoming.


Malheureusement, le mauvais sort est au-dessus d'eux. Dès notre 1re semaine de notre arrivée, (il y a 1 mois et demi), Pancho souffrait de douleurs abdominales, de fatigue et de manque d'énergie. Rocio ne reconnaissait plus l'homme travaillant qu'elle aime.

Une visite à l'hopital pour savoir ce qu'il avait, a fait que d' un jour d'hospitalisation pour évaluation, le séjour s'est transformé en plusieurs examens et jours d'angoisse pour toute sa famille, et finalement en jours de traitements.

Au début, on lui suspectait une bactérie à l'estomac, mais comme ses plaquettes sanguines étaient faibles, au bout du compte, les médecins lui ont trouvé un cancer du sang (leucémie), ainsi qu'une infection pulmonaire. Ainsi il a fait presque 1 mois à l'hopital.

Il a eu droit de sortie la fin de semaine passée. 5 jours avec la famille, puis retour à l'hopital pour d'autres traitements. Parait que ça sera comme ça pour quelque temps.

Parait aussi qu'il ne pourra pas travailler pour 2 ans et demi... j'espère qu'il saura bien vivre sa maladie et guérir rapidement.
